INHALE Toronto at Etobicoke Seedy Sunday

On Sunday, March 22nd, TEA’s INHALE Project was at Etobicoke’s first-ever Seedy Sunday!

The afternoon seed-swapping event at the Franklin Horner Community Centre was put on by the Lakeshore Environmental Gardening Society (LEGS) and included seed swapping, workshops, presentations, crafts, a community fair, and delicious locally-made refreshments.

We were delighted to be a part of this special event and to connect with active gardeners in the community.  Throughout the day we had the chance to connect with local residents and lead a short hands-on workshop in monitoring air pollution with our easy-to-use equipment. We also had many new people sign up to become Community Air Trackers!

We’ll be joining LEGS Etobicoke again on May 7th at their monthly meeting and we’ll be bringing our air quality monitors to the community plant exchange on May 9th. (Stay tuned for more details.)
